The focus is on rail shipments with the ShipperConnect Freight Management System (FMS).  FMS offers you comprehensive, proactive rail shipment tracking. Both inbound and outbound rail shipments can be monitored using car movement information from Class I railroads and from over 300 short line and regional railroads--with FMS, there are no more "black holes." In addition to current information, FMS retains the historical movement data for all shipments. You can use this historical data to measure transit times, identify bottlenecks, and ultimately support fleet sizing and routing decisions.
