A “geo-fence” is a user-defined electronic boundary used in conjunction with GPS location data for advanced tracking. By establishing the proper waypoints along your railroad and configuring the TMS master files accordingly, GeoRailtrace provides reporting and alert capability based on locomotives entering or exiting pre-defined boundaries.
