The RailDOCS suite of business systems is unique in its ability to offer mobile solutions to help you track the operation and maintenance data for your wayside assets. RailDOCS mobile devices are supported in a mostly disconnected state. The systems are updated through data synchronization via any internet connection. RailDOCS mobile devices can operate without a constant network connection, seamlessly synchronizing to RMI’s data center when a network is available. RailDOCS supports the remote update of software with service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
RailDOCS Mobile systems include solutions for Tests and Inspection, Configuration Management, and Track Inspection and Defect Remediation.
RailDOCS mobile devices include a rugged Nomad handheld or laptops running VMWare, and our system includes the ability to use built-in cameras and GPS in the application.

ExpressYard Mobile
ExpressYard is a comprehensive management system for railcar repair operations that includes integrated functionality to manage inventory, track labor, monitor repair schedules, and, of course, perform your repair billing. The system is comprised of a web-based application plus a handheld application that runs on rugged, user-friendly handhelds that enable inspectors to work quickly and efficiently.
ExpressYard Mobile reduces the time it takes to get data into a billing system, prevent redundant data entry by capturing the data only once, and prevent errors from getting into the system by forcing the inspectors to use valid information.
With ExpressYard Mobile, you can simplify your inspection process by capturing data electronically, in real time as the repair is made - thus eliminating human error and double data entry. The time saved by using ExpressYard Mobile practically pays for the system by itself!

mCrew: RailConnect Mobile
The RailConnect mCrew remote reporting system allows you to expand the power of the RailConnect Transportation Management System (TMS) from the office to the rail yard and beyond.
RailConnect mCrew offers basic car and train management functions via a user-friendly, intuitive touch screen interface. Train crews can take TMS along with them and report switching instructions and update completed work in real time. Using handhelds or tablet PCs, your crews can safely and efficiently input work orders as they are worked. RailConnect mCrew allows you to capture the following events: Train Arrivals/Departures, Setouts and Placements, Pickups and Pulls, Track to Track Car Moves, Track and Train Re-sequence, Bad Order and Storage.
Using cellular or Wi-Fi connections, critical event reporting data is transmitted and updated to TMS in near real time with RailConnect mCrew. This means that your reporting times go down, and your efficiency goes up!
